HIV/AIDS Educational Services

The HIV/AIDS Educational Services Division of the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health seeks to improve the quality of HIV/AIDS care and increase overall access to care by providing HIV/AIDS education, training and technical assistance to health care providers throughout Florida, Puerto Rico, and U.S. Virgin Islands under the auspices of the Florida/Caribbean AIDS Education and Training Center.

Training is provided to physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, dentists, pharmacists and other health professionals.  Education is provided through workshops, hands-on supervised clinical training, case conferences, and specialty conferences.
