Who We Are

Family Medicine is the branch of medicine that deals with provision of ongoing primary care a and comprehensive health care to people regardless of age or sex while placing particular emphasis on the family unit.

Our philosophy of patient care is an integral part of our structure. Our clinics are built on three basic principles of good health – preventative medicine, health maintenance, and patient education.

What We Treat

  • Diagnostic and surgical procedures performed by our Family Medicine physicians include:
  • Preventive care, health screening and physical exams for individuals of all ages
  • Annual health evaluations
  • Routine care for women, including Pap smears, pelvic and breast exams
  • Obstetrics, including prenatal care, delivery and postpartum care
  • Newborn and well-child care
  • Physical exams for sports, school and summer camp
  • Flu shots, allergy injections and immunizations
  • Acute care for short-term illness
  • Ongoing care of chronic problems
  • Treatment of complex and long-term medical conditions including diabetes and high blood pressure
  • Biopsy and excision of skin lesions
  • Incision and drainage of abscesses
  • Intrauterine device (IUD) placement and removal

  • Special procedures such as flexible sigmoidoscopy, colposcopy, minor surgery (including vasectomy and circumcision)
